About Josh

A word from Josh...

All of us photographers are different.

We see the world differently and our pictures feel different when you look at them.

I see honesty in a look & the truth of a moment. I want your pictures to be airy and emotional. I want you to feel like you can reach inside each one and relive that memory.

Not much of what I do is posed and composition comes naturally to me, which makes for pictures that tell a very real story. The best part of doing what I do is that the stories I get to capture are never the same because you and your fiancé are unique.

My job is a joy and I am grateful to do it.

I am based in the Bay Area and live with my wife and our son. Photography is a lifetime passion that I have worked tirelessly at to grow and evolve, with no intention of being anything less than the best.

I love being a part of the most important event in someone's life. It is wonderful to be able to witness so much joy and happiness.

The enjoyment I take in my work also comes with an enormous responsibility. A wedding can fly by in a flash, I strive to take advantage of every second by being aware of what happens around me at all times. My goal is to capture the beauty, romance and spirit of the day in an artistic, photojournalistic and unobtrusive way.

I want my images to bring the bride and groom back to their wedding day, to relive their own experience and also see what they may have missed.

I prefer to cover the whole event from start to finish, beginning with pre-ceremony preparations and finishing with the bride & groom departing from the reception. I focus on details, activities, and candid moments in a style that is unobtrusive. Thank you for taking the time to view my work, I hope you enjoyed it.
